In 2010 I received my PhD (Chemical Physics, supervised by Wolf Geppert) at Stockholm University after having experimentally studied dissociative recombination reactions of relevance for the chemistry in planetary ionospheres and interstellar clouds. Then I did a two-year postdoc at the Department of Physics at Imperial College London together with Marina Galand, where I by numerical means investigated the ionospheric particle balance of Titan (the largest satellite of Saturn) using Cassini data. I developed also a pure gas-phase model to investigate the ionospheric particle balance in the coma of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, the target comet for the ESA Rosetta mission. During my postdoc at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics in Uppsala I am continuing working on Titan's ionosphere, but focus in particular on extending the cometary model to also take into account gas-dust interactions.
